Design sense

On this, my last full day in my one-bedroom oasis, I finally posted pictures of my humble abode on Facebook (sorry, Stef!). I'm still in the midst of packing, but I'm having trouble staying on task since I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE. Plus, I made the mistake of turning on HGTV about two hours ago and now I've got a creative itch that I cannot scratch seeing as I sent all of my craft materials home weeks ago. The best I can do now is browse the internet for design ideas that I won't be able to implement until I get my own house years from now. Nevertheless, here's a sample of my design wishlist:

- I love glass tile backsplashes in kitchens (but I HATE gas ranges).

- Even though it's outmoded and yada-yada, I think the right kind of wallpaper can really make an accent wall (especially in a kid's room).

-Beadboard panneling is pretty, dark '70s panneling is not.
