1. What is your occupation right now? Manager of Social Marketing for a small web development company. I manage social media accounts and write web copy, press releases, and magazine articles in my pajamas. It's pretty legit, but it's no secret that I'm searching for something legit-er.
2. What color are your socks right now? Black with strange white swirlies.
3. What are you listening to right now? I can hear the TV blaring downstairs (as usual), but I can't tell what show is on.
4. What was the last thing that you ate? An apple.
5. Can you drive a manual car? My cousin tried to teach me once when I was 14 and she was like seven months preggo. I'm surprised my mad skillz didn't send her into early labor.
6. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Just hung up with my ginger lov-ah!
7. Do you like the person who sent this to you? I'm quite fond of the lady I stole this from, yes.
8. How old are you today? 23
9. What is your favorite sport to watch on TV? Football! The season is ENTIRELY too short.
10. What is your favorite drink? Diet Coke! Or Crystal Light.
11. Have you ever dyed your hair? Yeah. I was a bottle blonde for most of my young life, but I decided it was too expensive to keep up once mom and dad cut me off, so I dyed my hair its natural color and I haven't touched it since.
12. Favorite food(s)? Sweets! Specifically ice cream, brownies, and cookies. Yum! I also love Mexican food.
13. What is the last movie you watched? Adam. It's a really sweet indie movie that you've probably never heard of but that you should definitely Netflix :)
14. Favorite day(s) of the year? Christmas.
15. How do you vent anger? I gripe to Sean. A lot. Or to myself in my car (don't judge me).
16. What was your favorite toy as a child? My Funny Bunny when I was little and Barbies (OMG, LOVED THEM) when I was older.
17. What is your favorite season? Fall.
18. Cherries or blueberries? Cherries.
19. Do you want your friends to e-mail you? I suppose, I'd just be afraid that it would get lost among the deluge of work e-mails I get every day.
20. Living arrangements? With my parentals and their doggie and kitty. (Have I mentioned that my brother stole my cat from me? I am still very bitter.)
21. What is your favorite color? Yellow, pink, and purple. I cannot choose just one.
22. Favorite ice cream flavor? I LOVE chocolate chip cookie dough. In fact, I'd warn anyone against eating it out of my freezer because odds are good I've picked out all the cookie dough pieces.
23. When was the last time you cried? I teared up during a movie trailer last night, so Sean said we couldn't watch the actual movie.
24. What is on the floor of your closet? All kinds of crap that I need to get rid of--shoes, old clothes, books, etc.
25. Who is the friend you've known the longest that you are sending this to? Not technically "sending" it to anyone, but of all the people I know of who read my blog, I've known Liane the longest, so Liane!
26. What did you do last night? Made hamburgers for my sweetie and then watched Adam.
27. What are you most afraid of? Failure. Rejection is a close second. Or maybe a tie for first.
29. Favorite dog breed? Cats. Just kidding--Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, Shelties, and Westies are all cute. But really, cats.
30. Favorite day of the week? Saturday!
31. How many countries have you lived in? Uno.
32. Diamonds or pearls? Pearl earrings for sure, diamond rings for sure, and everything else is negotiable.
33. What is your favorite flower? Hydrangeas!
34. What is your favorite TV show? Top Chef! LOST and Mad Men are definite contenders as well.
35. What type of car do you drive? A 1999 Honda CR-V. Other than the fact that it's dated and a little dinged, it's the perfect car and I will absolutely never drive anything else! Yeah, I'm the person you know who loves a Honda.
36. Where were you born? H-town, Texas
37. Speak any foreign languages? Si, claro!
38. Next vacation spot? Going to Albuquerque with my family in the spring, Northern California for a wedding in the fall, and flirting with the idea of a weekend getaway to New Orleans in between those two (it's been almost a year since Sean and I first vacationed there, you see, and we're going through MAJOR withdrawals).
39. Ever skiied? No. I tried to snowboard once for an hour and I never want to try any winter sports again.
40. Would you rather be abducted by aliens or eaten by zombies? Abducted by aliens. At least then I wouldn't necessarily have to die.
41. What did you want to be when you grew up when you were little? An actress (ha!) and a marine biologist (haha!) for a while.
42. If you could move anywhere in the continental US right now where would it be? New Orleans, baby! Love them Cajuns, their fabulous European architecture, their wonderful personalities, their insanely delicious (and mega-fattening) cooking, and their deep-fried beignets!
43. What type of laundry detergent do you use? Tide I think. My dad does my laundry, hehe.
44. What was the last photograph you took of? My beautiful Valentine's Day bouquet!
45. Ever been to Disney World? Once. I would like to go back, if for no other reason than to meet Belle :)
46. Did you watch the Super Bowl? I did! GO SAINTS!
47. Who is your celebrity crush? Jake Gyllenhaal is one beautiful man!
48. Favorite Disney movie? Beauty and the Beast.
49. What is your least favorite chore? I've always hated taking out the trash. And ironing, UGH!
