Bad news for turkeys

This was, hands down, the BEST weekend for the sports fan in me. The Cowboys beat the Bucs, the Mavericks beat the Spurs, my high school football team won, and, of course, the Fightin' Texas Aggies beat the Horns and knocked those dirty hippies out of the Big 12 Championship game! Oh coach Fran, how could I not forgive you for your questionable play calls earlier in the season? Your tears at the end of the game melted my icy, anti-Fran heart. My foot is solidly in my mouth, sir. P.S. Please don't screw up the bowl game and make me change my mind!

When we scored what turned out to be the winning touchdown I jumped up and screamed in a crowd of (moderately calm) perfect strangers and I absolutely do not regret it. I was wearing an A&M shirt so most people knew why I was screaming anyway.

I read an article about the game yesterday in which Mack Brown was quoted as saying something like, "I never thought we'd lose this game, even with 40 seconds left I thought we'd make something happen for the win". Of course, Mack Brown, of course, because y'all are the mighty Longhorns who cannot possibly be beaten...except by the superior Fightin' Texas Aggies! Man I am excited for next season!
