Good genes

On Wednesday my mother and I took some of our pants to the tailor. When the adorable Korean lady who runs the shop asked my mom if she (the Korean lady) needed to get them done very quickly my mom told her that I would be home from college for seven more weeks, so no. The lady looked me up and down and said, "She not college girl! No!" and my mom said, "Yeah, she's going to be a junior, actually." To which the lady responded, "Her face look so young! Look like freshman! In high school!" Then the lady looked squarely at me and said, "You have face like mommy. Thank mommy!" Thanks, mommy!
