Foaming at the mouth until November 25th

As much as it sickens me, I must admit that I'm too cheap to buy an $8.00 CD that I'm absolutely rabid to own. And let me tell you, music is an absolute necessity these days. This begs the question: why am I willing to spend $8.00 on Aquafina and apples but not on One Cell in the Sea? Are not my mental and emotional well-being as important as my physical health? The answers lie somewhere in my mom's checkbook, I think. The trick, then, would be to convince her that a Best Buy expense should be covered by my monthly "sustenance" allowance. But that, friends, would be a pricey sell indeed.
