Designer Dessert

I've developed an odd fascination with cupcakes as of late. But aren't they just the cutest little dessert? Nary a cookie that I have seen arrives at the table under a swirly, besprinkled hat. And surely your slice of apple pie does not come wrapped in a fashionably portion-controlled jacket. No, when it comes to accessories, the cupcake really does top the bill.

If I had money or artistic talent, I would buy or emulate this, that, or these. Unfortunately, I am not blessed with either one of those things, and thus find myself resigned to stroking my cupcake calendar pathetically and window shopping on Etsy.com.
