It's been a LONG year together, Layla Lou, I'm kind of amazed that we both survived it. You seemed innocuous enough when I picked you up from the animal shelter. Tiny, spunky, and absolutely gorgeous - I thought you'd be the first in a giant collection of kitties, but then we went to college together.
Cats are supposed to be amenable and lethargic, perfect for small spaces, but you, my dear, were not at all what I was expecting. You've been destructive and loud and a general pain in the neck 90% of the time we've been together, but MY GOSH have things turned around recently.
From the moment you walked into our new place, you have been an absolute pleasure. You are sweet, happy, and totally chill now. You seem much more satisfied here - you must get that from your momma.
