Once upon a time, there was a young-ish girl who lived in a magical land unspoiled by time. And this girl had a best friend called Blog. She cared for Blog in spite of its design that was eerily reminiscent of grandma's living room. She cared for Blog in spite of its chronic alignment issues. She cared for Blog even when she had nothing at all worth writing about.
Then one day, an evil monster called Technical Editing snatched the girl away from her dear friend Blog. For months the girl struggled to escape the fiend, but Technical Editing's grasp was strong and the girl slowly began to realize that she might never again update her Blog. And then, when all hope of reunion seemed lost, a glorious hero called Christmas Break plucked the girl from the bowels of Technical Editing and returned her to her blissful homeland.
When girl and Blog were at last reunited, she was amazed by the transformation that Blog had undergone in her absence. At once the girl fell madly in love with Blog and vowed to never part with it again. And the two lived happily ever after in spite of the still-chronic alignment issues.
