At least I'm not as bad as William Faulkner

If/when I decide to get married I think it would be nice if Bronwen Weber made my cake. I've seen her work on Food Network Challenge and she does such a nice job. Plus she's adorable, seems sweet, and works in Dallas, which are all keys to successful cake decorating.

Hullabaloo's Diner was featured on some Food Network show that I had on for background noise this evening. Hullabaloo's is only four miles out of town and I'm dying to go! It'd be like visiting a celebrity or something. A celebrity in a town of approxiately 100 people. Anyway, join me during dead week, won't you?

When I read this story I got a very vivid image of the scene in my head and I literally laughed out loud. Plus, it takes place in England, so the interviewees use expressions like "toddled" and "nice as pie". Charming.

I hate opening Weight Watchers yogurt containers. Too many of my shirts have been dirtied by the yogurt explosion that happens when I break the seal between the container and the foil lid. The moral of the story: always open yogurts away from your body. Or naked.
